Has Anyone else experinced this??
All Disturbed Ones Know That even though the band's title suggest it their feelings and Ideas that are expressed through there music are NO WHERES NEAR DISTURBING! In fact they are the complete opposite, they give me strength and make me feel good. But as far as my question goes whenever i tell someone that i'm a die hard fan of the band and that person either A) never listened to their songs or B) only heard one song and makes a snap judgment like "Oh I heard Down With The Sickness and that band is sick in the head". When in reality that song expresses the true issues within Mother Society. But because of Drainman's amazing way of getting his feelings across people Suddenly assume that he's insane for saying those things in the song. So my overall question is does any other Disturbed Fans get those "stereotypes" against the band.
I was wondering what other Disturbed ones would say about this please give me some responses.
Now we all know that Disturbed's music is ment to make you feel "indestructible" as David Drainman says. But i was wondering what other people think when listening to there songs. LIke do you visaulize certain things, create fictional things in your mind. Or do you simply sit back and enjoy the music with out thinking of anything specificly. I enjoy making films (shorts) so i picture music videos i could make to go with the song, for instance, Facade. I picture me making a music video about a girl in an abusive relationship. These are simple vizualizing techinques I USE while listining to Disturbed. What do other Disturbed Ones think or feel when listing to disturbed? If you want you can even name a specific song and what you feel or think of to it.
