Album Release

I purposely waited all day to actually listen to the CD. When you are trying to convert someone, you have to be very careful with the timing. Caveman isn't exactly a fan. He's listened to Disturbed since we've been together about 5 times and that was because I wanted to listen to my CDs and he was bored. He says I change when I listen to Disturbed. I don't know about all that, but I do know that I calm down a little. Bah.

Anyway, I picked him up from work and popped that sucker in the player the second Caveman was in the truck. I think we have a convert on our hands. See, Caveman is a Marine. He's not active duty, but once a Marine, ALWAYS a Marine. He made me play INDESTRUCTIBLE 3 times before he let me go to INSIDE THE FIRE. Shocking because he's not into the heavy stuff. Country, a little Classic Rock (CCR, Skynyrd, etc.), some R&B...pretty eclectic collection, but nothing too hard. Until now. YEAH BUDDY!!!

As for my feelings on it, *THUD*

OK So I splurged on me for once

I'm a bad person. I went and bought the limited edition set for the forthcoming album. I'm such a bad Mommy.

OK You see that up there?? ^^^^

That's my ex-husband's view of how I spent my tax refund and stimulus. Nevermind the fact that my kids now have new wardrobes and bats, balls, gloves, etc. for the summer ball season. Why are some men like that? So dang controlling that they have to demean someone in order to get along in life. If I could go the next 12 years (the baby is 6) without speaking to him, I would, but I can't so I have to endure this stuff. Ah hell. He can bite me. The terd.

Anyway, I am sitting here on pins and needles waiting and watching the mail for my package. It would be killer to actually receive it on my birthday (May 28) BUT I know that cannot and will not happen, no matter how much of a tantrum I throw. *sigh* Blech!

*gets over self and returns to adulthood*

It's been too long

I've not posted on a board of any type in a long while. Sure, I post on MySpace periodically, but a message board it is not.

I've been a part of the Disturbed community (boards, emails, etc.) since 2006. I've been a fan for a lot longer than that. You may not like what you read. You may enjoy it immensely. However, always remember that a board post or blog cannot express the true emotion behind it. There is no reason to get angry with someone you may never meet over something so trivial as a post. Open mouth/Insert foot disease begets most Disturbed fans. Speak your mind, but mind your words. It's not in what you say, it's how you say it.

Welcome to my world.
