What one may say about other bands?
we cant stick in only one side, lest we get too familiar and go tired...

How can we tell disturbed is great if there are no other band?
How can we tell The good from the bad when the "Bad" Does not exist???

yeah, i liked it......it was
yeah, i liked it......it was pretty cool to hear my favorite band do such a great job on my second favorite's song.....the two bands are different enough but the same at the same time......comparing david and lejon is like oranges to apples.....but it was very well done.

Metallica used to be one of
Metallica used to be one of my favorite bands, but they keep putting out shit and lars is a douche (not a reason to dislike the band, but he is nevertheless). up till the black album, they released nothing but amazing tracks, and ...and justice for all was one of my favorite albums, but their self-titled was the beginning of their downfall. it sounded like they learned from it that they could play shitty less-talented music and be even more popular, so they stopped trying and went down the road that made them into the band they are today.
SOAD i love because of their originality. serj's voice sounds so cool, and i love mosta their old songs and even their new ones. In fact the Prison Song just came on in my itunes haha.
Mudvayne is alright. liked them at one point, but not a huge fan.

I'm not to familiar with mudvayne, so I won't comment on them.
Metallica was awesome back before their 90's era. System of a Down is... meh for me, they have a few good songs.
I'd rather listen to Judas Priest, Megadeth, and Nevermore. They are the shit when it comes to heavy metal.
I listen to a wide rang of metal (progressive metal, black metal, death metal, melodic death metal, grind), and honestly I don't see disturbed as a metal band.
They are alternative rock (I still think of them as a nu-metal band).

Yes those bands are great,
Yes those bands are great, and have their own unique sytle, but your right, there is no bad, there is good and better. All Hmetal bands are good, because of the genre they play, but how they play distinguishes between the better ones.
Metallica, and System of a down, have two different approaches, metallica has guitar, and drums, system of a down has something you want to hear more, their songs are catchy and alot of people like them.
but then metallica is susccessful in being around for so long.
