My review on Indestructible
Unlike a lot of other people, I plan to give you an honest review, of the new Disturbed CD 'Indestructible'. I got the CD on May 27th (My birthday, ironically), so I've had a good long time to listen to it, in-depth. In my opinion, this record is "okay". No, it's not "FUXIN AWESOME!!!!!1!!!1!111!!!!!11!one!!!1". It's just, okay. My reasons for that are:
1. Lack of depth, honestly. The CD sounds pretty, and I'll admit I was in-awe the first 2 days I had it, but after multiple listens, it's just average.
2. Lack of creativity. Some of the lyrics don't seem right, look like they were just made to rhyme. Too radio-rockey.
3. Repetitivity. When I bought Korn's 'Untitled', I listened to it for 2 months straight, without tiring. That was because every time I listened, I found a new depth, a new turn to the music that I didn't notice before, making it seems like it was a new CD, over and over. With this CD, every time I've listened, it's seemed like the same thing, same songs. I guess this falls under 'lack of depth'.
So those are my cons, here are my pros.
1. VERY good CD on the first few listens, I loved it for a couple days...
2. Quite a few of the songs are actually really well done, one being 'The Night'.
3. Let's face it, the packaging is sexy.
Those are just a few of my pros and cons. I really think something that would have helped this album is if Disturbed wouldn't have produced it themselves. They say "If we've been doing this for 10 years and still don't know what we're doing, we shouldn't be doing it". I don't see it like that... With them producing it themselves, it gives them more leeway, sure, but also nobody is there to say "How about we do it this way instead?" I don't know, just my take on the new album, despite the cons, it rocks, and the 3rd best Disturbed album in my opinion. 4/5 Stars.

Indestructible
I haven't yet purchased the album but will whenever I can scrounge up 20 bucks.
It's an experiment to be sure. But I admire their willingness to step forward and do it their own way. It shows character.
I doubt they're going anywhere for a while, so it'll be fun to listen to later albums if they keep up the self-producing thing.
Ok. Godsmack: Now go
Ok. Godsmack: Now go a-way!
Ha! That is badass.

Please, don't respectfully disagree until you have had at least a week to listen to it. Although, I'm happy you respectfully disagree, I was expecting many rude remarks. Anyways, with respect, give it week, then give me your opinion (unless you've already had it since May 27th, like I have).
