An Interesting New Life
An Interesting New Life
Now that I have started my last five years of hell I have gained some amazing new perspectives, mostly from the two hours of German class I have had this week. I've been adopted into the German culture for the next 4 years and have been given a new name, Jasmine Zeppelin (don't look at me, my teacher assigned me the name.) I actually love it, all of my classmates say it suits me well so, once I turn eighteen I'm going to try to change my name to Jasmine Nicole Dagenheart. It's very convenient you see- if for any reason I must flee the country I could always move to Germany, the name would simply be pronounced Yasmeen (as all who have attended German class would know.) It might be odd changing my last name to that of a character from my book but oh well. The first week of school has indeed been interesting, in dance we get to choreograph and preform out own routine (you guess what music =D) In History we will go through the entire transformation of human culture, in Biology I pray that my friend won't get murdered by our teacher (who else will play guitar in our cover band?) and I have an awesome Japanese kid in all of my classes who has chosen one of the most overused names in American society to replace his nightmare of a traditional name. My English teacher is insane (in a good way) and I'm not even going into math (ugh).
Thanks to my uncle who lives in Illinois I am most likely getting to visit the future city of my residence (Chicago) on the week of my birthday in March... I think this year might just be pretty decent, we'll see.
