I put the songs and the Friday 13th films together in my mind as a kind of music video of all Jason Voorhees kills cause those films rule and i think they go together nicely....

its hard to just sit back and listen to disturbed w/out wanting to get up, sing, dance, jump...w/e. i really like listening to em when im driving tho, bcuz i have a long ride into work and the music always pumps me up. i just get lost in it. they help me cope when im in a bad place in life, and are great to listen to when im happy as well. i tend to see "pictures" or "videos" when im listen to the songs, based on what the song is about and how it make me feel.

I feel the music as it pertains to something I can relate to in my life or see it as a visual manifestation of a work of art, I also run flicks through my mind of how a music would play out in a video. Pictures flashing across my mind. For me it's more how certian songs make me feel and empower my emotions that enflame these results.

I'm a very visual person. I too am someone who can see a whole music video play in my head. It all depends on my mood. Sometimes, I am simply content to just listen and feel the music flow through me. Unfortunately, visualization for me changes every time I listen to a song because I find myself discovering new meanings. Like I said, it all depends on my mood. Unfortunately, Disturbed is one of those kick back and rock out bands to me. Sometimes I can see things in my head, but it's hard to describe or pinpoint.

i pretty much self relate alot of the songs......songs like deceiver?....i picture quite a few people i know like that and sing it right to them at the top of my lungs......the night?....i just get lost in it....criminal? well, my husband and i both like that one.....if you can't figure out why?....i'm not going to tell you....you fill in the blanks...lol.......indestructible?....i listen too directly before work....and the list goes on...i guess it would just depend.

I paint or do sketches if something jumps in my mind. Sometimes I'll just listen to enjoy the music, and sometimes I listen for the great scream therapy! lol

As for Facade, sometimes I see myself embedded in the song, like its me.

I'm very visual as well and because Drainman lyrics are very much alive, its very easy to picture things in my head. My problem is expressing what I'm seeing.

When I listen to "Indestructible," I picture our soldiers over seas kicking ASS!

That's a good question! I guess it has different meanings to all, but it always made me want to be my own person..stand up for myself and others who don't stand up for themselves....especially when you listen to 10,000 fists.

Amazing answers guys. The variety in our thinking is amazing. But one thing is for sure and thats its hard to come about a band that can do all of this in a persons mind as good as Disturbed.

some of the songs make me think of my brother...he's in iraq.
or the marine..it would have fit in the sondtrack nicely...i hate "you cant see me "boy. i'm in to ufc.
or mistress makes me feel lonley.
and vocies....well you figure that one out....plates....my kitchen is not a safe place when i have that on...tehe

To just sit back and listen to DISTURBED unless of course your driving but even then you can't help from either banging on your fist on the dashboard or doing some minor headbanging or fist pumping. But sitting home with a glass of wine and relaxing to DISTURBED for me is IMPOSSIBLE!

it depends on the song, i guess. when i listen to "indestructible", for example, it makes me think of war, and how proud we are to be alive.

actually what happens with me is it makes me want to just go out and do something...whether its helping out people or just getting ready for basketball season...
