please note: sorry if you feel i sound like an emo child or something :/ im just telling you what went down cuz i cant keep it on my chest any longer. and when you need to share your thoughts. what better place than the internet :)

i went to the july 13th date of the mayhem fest. i had brought a friend with me. the main reason we were there was for the last 2 acts. slipknot and disturbed! so since of course we cannot drive there. my uncle decided to take us even though he hates that kind of music. and his wife wanted to go with him so he wouldnt be bored all day the only problem is she had just LITTERALY just got back from visiting my aunt in idaho where she had to be rushed to the emergency room because of her cancer. so we started the day off. we checked out some of the other bands that played. they wernt half bad! then evening came. time to go to the main stage. mastodon and dragonforce came on. i was pretty impressed with there acts. and this is coming from someone who hates dragonforce. then the big moment comes. distubed is about to play. then i get a text message from my uncle saying his wife is really really tired and that we have to go. which you know i can understand because its kinda hard to fall asleep at a metal concert. but i was also heartbroken. ive been waiting for this show for almost 6 months for this show. disturbeds music is something i can count on so much on when something in my life goes bad. and just to leave 1/4th of the way into there show really killed. i guess if there was a plus side to any of this. when we were in the vip lounge. we saw david and the band in a cut off section near the vip lounge. so that made up alot for it :)

so what have i learned from this whole experience.
cancer will bite your whole family in the ass :)
all you can do is hope for the best and have faith
