Messages....Have I lost mind...
We have been told on the site to send messages using the "messages" button at the top right of the page. I may be losing my mind but there is no "messages" on my screen. I did ask Spoox about it and she said it could be that only people with a code can access it????? That's hardly fair as people outside the US can't get a code.
Seems odd to me - I can't get into my messages at all unless I receive a new one, not even into my sent items or re-read stuff I received. The only way I know I have a message is if I go into "my profile" and there is a line at the top telling me I have one - I'm supposed to get an email informing me that there is a message waiting - hasn't happened so far despite having received several messages here. Is this a serious flaw with the website or have I lost my mind????
Who else is having the same problem?

send a message to someone else by clicking on their name which takes you to their profile. after it is sent, you can view your messages. annoying, yes, but it's the only way without the code.

This is because you have not input a code for "Inside the Fire". A way I can tell is that you do not have a star next to your name. Without this code, you cannot send a message.
No fair
Doesn't seem fair to me. Warner won't mail out to New Zealand - licencing rights or something - that means I can't get a code.
I never had any of these problems when I was on TDO - maybe that's because we paid for the privilege of being a member.
Also, I have some photos of their last show here in Christchurch that I want to upload - yet another thing I can't do without a code.
Oh well - it's all about the band and the music - the website is really only secondary. It would just be nice to have full access even though I'm overseas.

For those who haven't noticed by now, Warner is just a cluster-fuck in it purely to get money off the band.
Look at the facts:
*$45 for a "Limited Edition" package that included 2 discs, a cheap cardboard (breakable easily) case, and a poster that you can not hang up, unless you frame it.
*Promises of receiving a copy ON street date, via postal service, but when customer service was called, "we are not aware this promise was made."
*"INSIDE THE FIRE FANSITE - EXCLUSIVE VIDEO, AUDIO, AND OTHER MEDIA EXTRAS," you must mean, "INSIDE THE FAIL - HALF-ASSED VIDEOS, NO AUDIO BONUS."
*The "meet and greet" promised was actually 50 fans gathering in a room with no food, drinks, or any luxuries, and there were no directions on times, or where the "parties" were
*No "messages" button for regular users
*The day Indestructible was released, a bulletin was posted saying "INVINCIBLE - IN STORES NOW!"
*They don't ship outside the states.
*Promotion for Indestructible was disorganized
Disturbed needs to leave Warner Bros., they obviously care nothing about the fans Disturbed works so hard to garner.

Hey, I'm also from NZ & I got the code with my CD/DVD spec. ed. pack which was $26.99. Dunno if a code is included in with the ordinary CD or not, the only way to win is to give them ALL YOUR MONEY. This is capitalism, feed the cycle.

When I found out Warner wouldn't ship out here I downloaded the CD - no hassle and no need to go out in the rain!!! I guess that missing out on codes etc. is the price I've paid for being too lazy to get of my arse and go down to the shops!
My loss I suppose.
