Bands you like MORE than Disturbed
This oughta spark some interesting discussion. Me, I much prefer Protest the Hero, Unexpect, and The Syncope Threshold to Disturbed, though I still like Disturbed.
So, lets start a fight...I mean discuss bands we like more than Disturbed :P

The Night or Deceiver?
Disturbed, Led Zeppelin and Pearl Jam are my top 3 bands. Depending on my mood, which can go in whatever direction unannounced, that is the one band I listen to the most. What kind of a question is this anyway? What a way to fill up space on the website.

Faith No More: Never heard them before, so I can't accurately judge them
Tomahawk: I love Tomahawk
Dog Fashion Disco: I love Dog Fashion Disco even more
Tool: Not a HUGE fan, but I do quite enjoy their music, especially their album Lateralus
Fantomas: Same as FNM
Mr. Bungle: Haven't heard a whole lot of, but I like what I have heard
NOW, that all said, I still MUCH prefer the three I mentioned to every band there is ;-)

Though I must say I prefer Todd Smith (Dog Fashion Disco/Polkadot Cadaver) to Patton, just a personal preferrence though, thought I'd just throw it out there since we seem to be on the topic of Avant-Garde bands

I prefer Todd Smith as well, but I must say that I am more awed by Patton's vocal range. They're both incredibly diverse vocalists, and I'd listen to anything either of them did.

sucks. Haven't released a great album in 20 years. Lars is a douche, and the whole band tends to be rather overrated. They're talented, but they haven't shown it in over 2 decades. They just started throwing together albums about as badly as AC/DC after they had a hit in that one average-ish song: The Unforgiven.
A Bunch of Local Bands= suck. I hate their sound, ABoLB is just one of the worst bands i've heard, I mean, what kinda band name is that? they just weren't even trying, and the members are terrible together, hardly ever do all the members show up in one place. such a waste.

I think I remember hearing that The Eagles got their start because of ABoLB, though right after that mini-tour they hit it big, but of course I wasn't around, so they may just be rumours. I think they toured with Elvis and The Beatles when those two were in their early days too. And STILL there's so many people who have never even HEARD OF them.

Metallica's older stuff was much better, but DM (to me) OSS their best ablum since the Black album. Lars is an ass, and because of the Napster incident, I will never buy a Metallica album (I was tempted when CC was closing and MoP was $2).
If you don't like ABoLB, YOU are the dumbass. Their sound is increadable and ABoLGP (a bunch of local guitar players) are the best guitar players ever.
