I'm in a bit of a dark mood right now. Made me think of the darkest song I've heard, Raining Blood. So, whats the most twisted, darkest, insane, borderline satanic, etc. song you've ever heard? (Que twisted smile and evil laugh)

I am surprised...
To not see any Marilyn Manson songs, I thought for sure that at least one would pop up. Fine, I'll post one, The Beautiful People is both kick ass and creepy.
"Oh sweet insanity"
tool
Tool has some pretty dark and mysterius stuff too. not like insane dark, like the kind that keeps you on the edge of your seat during a movie like Signs. its not freakish, but curious.
Jesus mi amigo
Bodies
the darkest song i have ever heard has to be Bodies by Drowning Pool. "let the bodies hit the floor." it makes me think of the dead chick on the inside the fire single cover falling off a cliff and hitting the ground... lifeless...
Jesus mi amigo
ummm
i don't think that song's very dark at all.... if you want something lyrically dark and kinda creepy sounding, like an old horror (organ sounding keyboard) try Dog Fashion Disco, especially the CD Anarchists of Good Taste (their new shit sucks! unfortunately):
Leper Friend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17mD4reFUlw
Mushroom Cult (with Serj from SOAD, gremlins is bg video): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtRTmWpkNE8&feature=related
damn, there are better ones, but i can't find links for them, like Pour Some Urine on Me, Headless, Cartoon Autopsy, et al.
Some Lyrics from Headless (my fave):
I am coming to rape and murder your family you,
You can try and run,
But there's nowhere left to hide.
I will follow the sun as it sets in the west
It will lead me right to you.
3000 miles and in L.A.
I can't wait to see the look on your face
As I put my gun up to your temple,
Pull the trigger that sends you back to hell.
You butchered my art and only to save a dollar,
Are you ready to die my friend?
Are you ready to confront the end?
Like Helter Skelter
And son of Sam.
By the days end you'll know who I am.
I spill your blood on the Hollywood Boulevard.
I won't rest until your headless.
You should have known
I would leave you helpless and alone.

Shit...
The psychopath theme song.
"Oh sweet insanity"
it's
a badass song tho, the whole CD is so unique. i love it! it's so odd that i doubt you've heard much like it, though i'm certain other less known bands have played something similar. it's really depressing to hear their new music, cuz there's no comparison.

Psychopath theme song
No I haven't heard it, I'm sure it is badass, I was merely pointing out that it has the creepiest lyrics I've ever seen. As for similarities, I'd say a few Marilyn Manson songs come close.
I still say that, if they played that through the intercom at Death Row, they'd love it.
"Oh sweet insanity"
you should
listen to the songs i did post and see if ya like em tho, if ya want. they're very cool and unique. pretty dark as well.
lyrics from leper friend:
Pretty faces, pretty hip.
Bodies hang to drain and drip.
So submit and let’s pretend,
You’re not a hollow charlatan.
Velcro whores they fill the streets,
Infecting everyone they meet.
The hourglass is karma’s curse.
Each grain of sand is a universe.
Laser beams and cattle prods.
Sacrifices for the gods.
Divinities, orgasmic hymns,
Will fuck you with prosthetic limbs.
As ulcerations form,
They soon know they will lose fingers and toes.
Swollen ends and bloody gauze,
Curse us all.
I’ve watched you suffer,
For so long it seems.
And somehow I look the other way.
I’ve watched you fall apart
Like my leper friend.
And somehow I look the other way.

Damn...
I will have to check that out, I love creepy, why do you think there are Marilyn Manson references in my replies?
"Oh sweet insanity"
lemme
know what ya think :-) if you want truly sick and twisted lyrics, then try the band Preschool Tea Party Massacre. yeah, i'm pretty sure the name gives some idea of how twisted the lyrics are, with such gems as:
"Giving Head to a Shotgun," "Your Suicide Attempt Was Really Funny," "We Finally Got A Drummer But He's Paralyzed From The Neck Down," "All Dressed Up and No One to Blow," "Fuck Her and Kill Her But Not In That Order," "I Swerved To Miss A Cat and Hit 36 Kids," "Best Things In Life Are Free, Then Why Did I Pay To Get AIDS," "You Would Rise To The Occasion In A Room Full of Guys," "I Totally Owned That Handicapped Kid In DDR," "Remember, Feet First Through A Woodchipper"
If you want sadistic lyrics, try those....but i wouldn't suggest it. i went with the funnier titles, cuz some are pretty disgusting. some are quite comical tho.

Holy shit!
Or should I say "Unholy shit!"? And my parents thought Marilyn Manson was fucked up, damn! I think Phil wins our little contest. A lot of those titles sound twistedly hilarious, but some of them...damn...You definitely won this contest for dark and creepy songs.
"Oh sweet insanity"
well
those were mainly the twistedly hilarious ones haha. some were downright disgusting. believe me there were much worse song titles than the ones i posted haha

All right...
...let's see what ya got, send 'em to me. It can't be that bad can it?
"You say you've found yourself a new sound"
hmmm
well, idk about THE darkest, but if you want some brutal shit, that's certain to vent inner angst, try The Agony Scene. Some good songs of theirs are:
Prey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP59X4VCpZw
Screams Turn to Silence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxMJwUM4rik
Forever Abandoned: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHg9ZcwGcs4
The band Bleed the Sky can be pretty brutal too. here's a couple good ones:
Minion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7a-ehnUqqs
Paradigm In Entropy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOADUK8YS-0
It's what i listen to when i wanna be sledgehammered by my music, which is more often than you'd think haha

I think Hallow's Eve by Type
I think Hallow's Eve by Type O Negative is one of the darkest songs I've heard to date. It sounds mysteriously dark, and the words conjure up unique imagery.
I was fortunate enough to see Type O in concert a few months back. It was awesome. A local band I'm friends with opened for them.
