Tool is clearly better than Korn ;-) Tool pioneered much modern hard rock and so-called nu-metal. Tool is one of the more inventive bands of the past decade and tho some of their songs are a bit experimental, they still come out with original sounds and maynard has such a great voice to go with their music. just listen to Jambi or The Pot off of 10,000 Days if you don't believe me.

All That Remains is amazing! but Protest The Hero is much more inventive. They both have cool guitar, but PTH is the pinnacle of dual guitar for me. It's fast, technical, imaginative, and with cool screaming/singing vocals. plus their bassist, Arif, is fuckin amazing, and a great guy. one of the best bands i've seen live. Their lead singer, rody, is hilarious and a really nice guy as well, though thoroughly insane haha. THAT is why PTH is better ;-)

Slipknot
Slipknot is way better than All That Remains, but Slipknot bows to Metallica
Of course Disturbed is the best!!!

I'm not gonna lie, Metallica is a great band, but they kinda screwed themselves with the new album, i'd say they just stick to the old. Both SLipknot and Metallica are nothing compared to FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH.

newest is much better than st. shit. but they haven't been the same since the release of their self-titled black album. they really plummeted after that. gimme ...and justice or MOP anyday. FFDP is good and fun, but their lyrics kinda suck in places. ivan is amazing though, but i miss motograter.

Have not heard their latest album
plan to buy it eventually, but I have yet to get it, I have heard good things about it though, love ...And Justice For All (listening to it right now) and the Black album was the best, but I wouldn't say they plummeted, the other stuff was good, just uncompareable to the Black album.

isn't bad. and granted some stuff after the black album was still 'tallica, and s&m was brilliant. but even the black album was starting to sink from the killer thrash metal of their first four albums. it's not awful music, it's just not what people had come to expect from metallica.

is da man! i didn't like his solo album that much tho, but it wasn't awful. i'm so glad he's back with flaw, though i wish he had stayed with five.bolt.main for longer :-(
