I know what you're thinking, a Korn quote on Disturbed's site? For those of you who knew that, you rock.
Those who know me know that Disturbed is my favorite band of all time, but Korn is the only close second for me. I post this for a few reasons, I am listening to Korn's Greatest Hits vol. 1 right now, but I mainly post this because of the quote.
I like this quote, I have felt that way before, so it has meaning to me. Anyone who has a favorite quote, by anyone, please share.

Korn is what got me into metal
Korn does absolutely rock. And their greatest hits does pwn. My favorite song on it is Got The LIfe. I just love the beat and guitar riffs.

Just finished seeing the vid
And it did kick ass, especially the ending where the car flies off the ramp and hits the ground and explodes. But Freak on a Leash in my opinion is a better vid. But they both pwn.

I'd really been hoping for Evolution or Starting Over to be in it, A.D.I.D.A.S. is an okay song, but I say Korn has some better songs that should have been on it instead.

Evolution and starting over couldn't have been on it, since it came out several years after Vol 1 was released, unless you're talking about wanting to see it on a possible vol 2. idk, i'm kinda confused as to what you're saying. i woulda also liked to have seen thoughtless on it, which has a very odd but cool video to it haha

I don't check dates much
But thanks for that, I know when Vol. 1 came out but have no idea when the others did, they're on my iPod and I didn't even start forming an opinion of music until a little over a year ago. So yeah, seeing them on Vol. 2 would rock.

I love that CD but it throws off my iPod, computer, and 360 because it's untitled. Evolution was the first Korn song I heard and is what got me hooked.

Yup
My neighbor helped me get my iPod started with a few of his CDs, and, while he doesn't like Korn that much, had the untitled CD and Issues, so I got to use them, the only bad part of the story is that untitled was EDITED, bullshit.
So, one of my first metal songs, and my first Korn song, was good ol' Evolution.

Big time
Been missin' out big time. What a strange coincidence, Evolution being one of 9000 songs to show up when you're talking about it.
I'm making it my duty to do 2 things after Christmas, buy See You On the Other Side, and buy All Hope is Gone. I'll have to get a job soon, to pay for an amp and for all the CDs I still don't have. My parents are done buying me stuff after the $1,000 Razorback (worth it), Gears of War 2, and Fallout 3.
Ah, listening to Metallica is a great way to wind down after a hellish day like today, Korn is better relaxation, but I've gone through my Korn CDs a few times already today.

if you gotta choose between See You On the Other Side and All Hope Is Gone, go with All Hope Is Gone. Seriously, all the songs on there are some of the most played on my iTunes, and i wasn't even a huge slipknot fan before that CD, other than a couple songs. but their newest is innovative, experimental, complex and yet gets all the melodic parts of Vol 3, and brings the brutality of Iowa. great fucking album imo. SYOTOS was a good CD, but not Korn's best. i much prefer their older stuff though.

Nope...
...once I get my work permit, I'll be able to buy both, and more. I don't own any Slipknot CDs yet, so it's good to know that it's a good one. I've heard Slipknot at friends houses and online, Wait and Bleed was my favorite of what I've heard. My favorite Korn album so far, is Issues, but it doesn't have my favorite Korn song on it, so I'll have to form my own opinion later on.
But, All Hope Is Gone will definitely be the first of my list of CDs to buy that I get, I'll probably order it online since I can't find a copy of it where I live that isn't edited.

I like See You On the Other Side more. And I thought their newest untitled album was the worst album they have come out with. And I agree with ya Philip, Korn's older stuff pwned more.

weird. well, with more experimental stuff, there's always gonna be those that like it and those that aren't quite feeling it of course. i thought it showed slipknot's diversity, which is one of the things i loved about it.
