The Curse

Ah, story of my life, this song describes my life perfectly. No matter how good things seem or are going, something screws it all up "I can't seem to do anything right". However, I push through, knowing my perserverence will be rewarded in the end "Never surrender, I'll never be overcome".

Every part of this song can be applied to my everyday life. Is there a song that you feel describes yourself?

No matter how close the newer songs are i still have to say that Remember is the song of my life. The fact that whatever is going on in my life i always feel like i have to wear a mask to hide the real me, the part of me i thought no one could possibly figure out.... up until i heard that song.

it just reaches down into that deep dark part of my soul. most times i have to listen to this song alone (i must have looked like the biggest ass at the concert when they played it since couldnt help but cry!)

Shattered doll, desperate
Oh so innocent and delicate
But too damn obdurate and obstinate, to let go
Broken down, hurt again, it never ends
Frightened and trembling

Submitted by cbssi on Sun, 12/21/2008 - 11:04am.

I suppose, then, Façade can describe my life, at least in part. That is to say, as a teenager, I see all my friends get into these self-abusive relationships. I shouldn't say self-abusive. Rather, one side of the relationship ALWAYS gets controlling on the other side. The other side gets hurt, irritated, but keeps up the façade of happiness, but for whose sake? I'm also going to say Indestructible, because honestly, The Curse doesn't describe me one bit. A year ago, I would've said it did (I had severe depression), but I overcame the depression, and I haven't had one unhappy day since. I'm always in a good mood. You can even try your hardest to pester me, but my happy mood is indestructible.

That's good

I wouldn't call myself depressed, just in severe need of a break, but, no matter what I do, something gets in the way. Also, The Night, but I didn't feel like explaining the comparison, too complicated.

Are you new by any chance? Poor son of a bitch, you all make the same mistake, how foolish, childish at that, it's obvious you have no idea what you're walking into, so here's a fair warning...sarcasm with me will get you in a lot deeper than you can imagine, so shut the fuck up and get off my post "Once would you think boy, think hard" -Korn

Maybe I'm just not clear, though. I have NOTHING against you personally, I just absolutely hate it when people post ANYTHING that even resembles them saying that their own life sucks. To me, it looks like they're looking for pity. I don't like that. Also, you seem to misinterpret sarcasm, perhaps. Sarcasm isn't saying one's opinion, which I was doing. My post was making the point that almost EVERY person that I know has a "woe is me" persona. To come here and see something resembling it online is just annoying. I wasn't hating on you personally, though. So I just don't think I was clear.

Eh

Submitted by Knightfall on Sun, 12/21/2008 - 5:48am.

Wasn't really saying my life sucks, just that there always seems to be something in the way when I try to get a break, everything seems to be going GREAT, then something gets in the way. Not so much "woe is me", more "I need a fucking break". No hard feelings.

I've actually been here since May. Let's skip these silly games, we're both too good for them. I'm honestly not scared of "deep shit" and nor should I be. You're a random set of numbers that happened to have contact with my random set of numbers, and this all counts for nothing because it's on the internet, see? I don't affect your life, you don't affect mine. So why don't we skip these silly games of making threats that are ultimately null? Sorry if that sounded smarmy, it wasn't meant ultimately, to be that way.

Also, nice quoting of Clown. Very good song, very good band.

Ya caught me at a bad time. Yeah, this doesn't count for anything.

Korn is a close second to Disturbed for me, I quote them a lot. And Clown ROCKS!

Let's just move on from this, we're better than that.

indestructible. I listen that when I`m feeling down. In that song I find strength that I need. I know that I`m strong...I just forget it sometimes.
And dear Knightfall I know you have same strength too.
At least you make our days better with your blogs, so you must do someting right every day..

Every time you think you've got it good, *poof* you don't.
I think The Night relates more to me though.
