I have recently been hearing about what I missed out on from the old site from current reply record holder philiptarrant. Any TDO veterans out there, I would really like to hear more about what the old site was like, anything at all.

the format was different than this.
its just like any other regular Message board that you would go to BUT the guys actually responded to questions on the site. that was the one major perk........that someone ended up decided to abuse.
im not gonna go into details cuz i wasnt there but from the stories i heard, lets just say that some idiot ruined and more people put more gasonline to the fire. which is why it got shut down
i was practically one of the older members there since ni nsigned up like the first day it opened up...but anyway...
i miss those days.
there are some mpeople who still take "credit" for doing what they did, which i call assholes who ruined it for the rest of us.

I've heard similar stories about how the old site got shut down, dumbfucks abusing the band's interactions. I'm more interested in how it was before that happened, but thanks for the reply.

Are you talking about the DMB or TDO? I wasn't on the DMB but I heard about the times it was shut down. I don't remember anything nasty going down in TDO (except some stupid arguments between fans about each other, not the band). In January, 2007, the admin started a thread asking what new exciting things we'd like to see in the fan club & people responded with suggestions. Then a few weeks later, they announced that they weren't taking new memberships & then they stopped renewing old ones. But I don't remember anything happening on there...
