Deaf by epic awesomeness!

Needless to say, yesterday was a great birthday!

I went to the Uproar concert in Toronto for my birthday, although some plans got changed about and my older brother came with me at the last minute so I wouldn't be stuck with a ticket already paid for. We made the most of the day and got ready for Uproar!

I will admit this, I wasn't a fan of anyone else on the card that night (until I hear Halestorm for the first time and got hooked on their music, great group of people live and in person! I got their album and they signed the cover for me, very sweet people to meet in person)

by the time I arrived back for Stone Sour and the led singer got a nice new bra to wear over his head for the next song. (I don't even know why people do this, ladies, if it gets cold outside... well... it's your own damn fault now isn't it?) He did have a pair of panties to go with the bra from earlier in the performance according to my brother.

I wasn't a fan of avenge seven fold, the first song creeped me out since they had a guy faking his death and hung on mid air (on wires so he was safe) throughout a song. Sorry, not really my cup of tea.

But then, the moment of truth, Disturbed!

David, you are ever reading this at all, whatever it is you are doing, don't ever stop! You were the only one my brother could understand what you were singing about and hell, I may even make him a fan yet! Needless to say I went deaf by the epic awesomeness by the end of the night. I had seen Disturbed on the computer when they did the free concert on net, and they sound just as they do on their albums, all of them.

I wouldn't trade that day for anything in the world, Disturbed gave out more songs and didn't use any fillers to kill time, it was just awesome and made the crowd go home happy.

I will see them live in concert again, oh, I should mention I am a vampire writer, I could use their music when my books are made into movies (or just a good theme for when I advertise my books) but somehow... in some way... I can see Disturbed becoming a group of immortals... feeding off the crowd's energy....

hmmm....

I think I need to get writing.

I will try and post pictures of the concert, I need to get a better camera for events like this, but shall do my best to clean them up and share with the other disturbed ones! until then!
