This is ridiculous!!! There is no GUARANTEE that the band will be at the Lounge...so basically the person that 'wins' this auction will be paying $500 for a cd!!!! (it is only implied they may be there,it is not a 'meet and greet' per se)
not only that,this person is suppose to be a FAN!!! do fans rip off other fans???? i would hope the fuck not...
the label has been contacted and they can do very little...i did contact Ebay,several times,so hopefully something will be done there...but if you have an Ebay account,you can complain by sending an email as well...
what a slap in the face to the people that received their too late to sign up for the Lounge...sick sick..

What a tool. How can people like that be allowed to breath the saw air as the rest of us. If I ever run into that person, however unlikely, I would beat him like the dog that he is. Selling his guest spots to the highest bidder. If that were me I'd just give them away to someone at the concert. Grab 2 random fans and say here ya go. But thats just me. Just a reminder, karma's a bitch. Just my 2 cents.

Assholes are assholes and there is nothing anyone will do to change an asshole's mind. The decent people know you're right...and we agree with you. But, unfortunately, there really is nothing anyone can do. Let's just hope your initial blog posting alerted everyone that will benefit from knowing to stay clear of the auction.

While your entitled to your opinion i fail to see how it is prudent in this case. A: no it isn't FREE as you state as you must BUY the LE's which i bought 2 and 1 of them comes with this auction. Also, who is being scammed when the auction CLEARLY states no guarantees on meeting the band and also offers a full refund if they are unable to get in to the party as my guests. Hmm, sounds pretty legit and sqaure to me and will to EBAY and WB as well. So i say keep your opinion to yourself and learn to read the auctions before shooting off untrue statement emails to me or anyone else. "

I have contacted him again and tried to make him understand that $40 does not equal $500...
this was his articulate and intelligent response:
"I fail to see how that's any of your business who i choose to bring as MY guests. I am allowed 2 according to the RULES. Also i suppose it's perfectly ok that a $50 pit ticket goes for $200 right?? Please, get a life, mind your business and get your facts straight. No rules are being broken, no-one is being scammed and it's my right to bring who i wish. I paid for my copies and registered just like everyone else had the chance to. So, unless your buying them then go away and refrain from spamming me again or i will report you for abuse of the ebay email system. Cry to someone else that you couldn't go to the party. That auction looks legit to me. It does not tell you that disturbed will be at the party, but it is an exclusive VIP so its a possiblity. Plus you go to the party with the people that are selling you the access so i don't see how you could get ripped off. People at ebay are usually good about refunds and problem solving.

That's not a ripoff, does it say once in that sale that Disturbed will be at the party? No. It is "only implied". In other words, there is no guarentee of meeting Disturbed, no statement, but the person is selling seats to a full party. They're doing a good deed, or trying to. The "Buy Now" price is $500, but the bid is only $100, and that's because of the people buying, not selling.

Point is this: There are WAY too many selfish people in this world that have no problem and no conscience when it comes to fucking someone else over..."implied" or not. lots of bands stop doing things like VIP Lounges and Meet and Greets because of bullshit like this..
