After over 30 years of my life in metal i had the honor to meet quiet a few bands and i know how tough the schedule is for the most of them. Press want to have interviews and stuff like that. Besides going on tour is not just fun, it's hard work. I'm just glad i can see them on stage. And everyone whining about free drinks and free food, so what? I'm willing to pay for my stuff and if i get something for free it's an extra and i'll be polite and say thank you. All this need and greed stuff behaviour is for people that think they are above everyone that work hard in the musicbusiness and just because they paid for a limited CD or for a concert they own them. Those people should be ashamed of themself.

I was at the concert yesterday in Virginia and it rocked! I have seen Disturbed 4 times and met them once. I pre-ordered the cd,got the VIP access, paid for my food and drinks, and had a wonderful fucking time. I didn't meet the band but I didn't think that I was going to get to! I am a huge fan and I pre-ordered the cd/dvd set so I could be one of the first to have it and I bought the tickets for the show so that I could watch them do what I love soo much! I am a fan and will always be a fan! I can't wait to see them again and it's only been 24hr since they took the stage! I wish everyone would QUIT BITCHIN about what they didn't get and enjoy what they do!

Amen to that, I'm just upset because, I was supposed to have joined you in the Hartford party, but thanks to certain overprotective people, and the stupidity of some of the workers there, I was deprived of that extra fun. (Sorry to other people that couldn't get a spot at that one, if I had known it was going to happen that way, I would've left my spot for someone else to actually use it...)

I agree. There was never anything concrete about a meet-n-greet with anyone. So people whining about it is just a waste of time and precious energy. The only thing I had a problem with was getting my code from the LE. I got it in the end and it was all good.

Doesn't matter who you or where you go. There will always be people that are naturally negative towards everything. Just the nature of the beast I guess. As my dearly departed Grandma always said. If you don't have anything positive to say, keep your fucking mouth shut. Good words to live by Grandma.

Like some of the people below me said Disturbed is one of the most easily accesible bands to meet.

I went to see them in Richmond VA back in May (before the VIP thing) and I think that maybe David or Dan came out the front doors to meet some of the fans. Cause alot of the people up front started screaming and such.

I didn't get to meet them cause I was half-way down the line but damn it I was glade to be there and there is always next time.

Point is as long as Disturbed keeps doing what they are doing there will always be a chance to meet the band.

The only reason I still stop by is to check on the news and to see if Adam as posted any new clips or pics. It's just so sad that the Guys have another fansite that is full of bitchy whiny brats.

Wow, first of all... I'm on the list for one of the VIP parties and I knew from the beginning that it wasn't a meet and greet. No, guys... it never said meet and greet. That's all just overexcitement... but wow. i've never heard anyone complain so much about something they really, really shouldn't care about. this is my first time reading disturbed blogs, but this one is rediculous. there's no reason to be so rude. we're all fans here, and there's no need to brag about your life's work on being such a great fan. if anything you should be informative and understanding towards the people who enjoy the same music as you...and i think these stupid little fights between such hateful people are the ONLY thing disturbed would truly frown upon. come on people... where's the love?

just to throw this in,Slipknot had promised fan club members(which i am a proud member)a meet and greet at Mayhem...due to logistical issues they were unable to have them,though it was announced that they would(they have now worked it out but only very few are selected and you dont know until close to your show date)...i dont think i saw any Slipknot fans blame the band...they understood that it wasnt the bands fault and they knew,because they were fans,that the band was appreciative for all their support..

WOW,who would have thought Slipknot fans would be a little more mature than Disturbed fans..it was basically a given that there would be a meet and greet,i mean it actually said MEET AND GREET(UNLIKE what the presale VIP said)..and yet,when that couldnt happen they didnt pout,bitch,call the band names or make stupid posts about how disappointed they were...

Look , I know what I read and I've read that other people saw the same thing. Now maybe, just maybe your the idiot that can't read. I'm no hater I used to love this band in fact I still do. It's their web page administrators who have the problem here. Why do you think they had to put the little comment in there. Just because? No, because they had to put something in there to get the pre sales up. Then once thats done they can go back and make a correction so that they look like it was just a misunderstanding. Their Web page people along with WB records are the idiots. Did you buy the pre sale CD? I'm willing to bet you didn't get it until a few days after release. Hmmmmm see my point. Maybe the band isn't about the money but their record company and WEB page people sure are. Peace!
