Gotta agree with you there SquirrelGrunt.
I missed that he pointed out a difference in style--I guess I sorta skimmed the comment.
You're right, differing style doesn't matter. I listen to bands like Kraftwerk and Blue Oyster Cult but I also listen to Carcass and Burzum.

Impure Soul - That wasn't my point. Splatt mentioned they have a totally different style. So what? Why would they get someone with the same style?

I personally think they're underrated and have some good songs. If you don't like them, that's fine :)

Just putting my opinion out there

A agree w/ splatt. I've only ever seen 'em playing live with Disturbed in 09, but I thought they were monotonous and generic. Then I thought, well, maybe the sound quality was bad for 'em. Then I went and heard a studio song by them.... turned out that they're actually pretty monotonous and generic. Oh and they phail @ clean vocals. Sounds like the guy from Nickelback. Not to mention they keep retreading the hooks and choruses to the point where I wanna smash my head against a wall.

And to SquirrelGrunt, I could care less what the band listens to. That shouldn't matter... have your own tastes.
I mean, Mikael Aekerfeldt of Opeth said Bring me the Horizon was good, and I heard them and nearly puked from all the corniness. Occassionally a band will recommend a good band, like when Michael Amott of Arch Enemy recommended Candlemass or when Varg Vikernes of Burzum recommended Dead Can Dance. Those were two of the best recommendations I've ever gotten...

splatt1 I have no idea what you're talking about. Art Of Dying is a pretty decent band in my opinion. You do know the band listens to more than themselves?

Guys, Art of Dying are shit. They are nothing compared to you.
I respect you and your label but those punks have a totally different style and I personally have no idea why would you like them.
