Inside the Fire video... and tonight.

Under any other circumstances, right now I would be hailing our boys for cranking out not only a phenomenal song, but also a very profound, artistic, meaningful video... but an encounter with my alcoholic father tonight in which he tried to hang himself from a tree marked this video as hitting way too close to home for me to really appreciate it. I managed to cut the rope before... well, before things were finished, but suffice to say, I'm more than a little shaken up. Many thanks to David for giving us that heads-up at the beginning, or I don't think I would have been able to make it through the video.

The Inside the Fire video realy had an impact on me because i atempted suicide more than once and failed. But that was more than a year ago, and remembering it made me think why i wanted to do it.

Addict

Thats right I am a Disturbed addict. Im a fuckign junkie!!! I love disturbed for everything they are and ever have been. I am a huge fan and have been a member of TDO TPO and just local fellow fans. I know that perfect insanity is NOT a new song but rather a revamp of an old pre "sickness" song (actually like the original better) and my life has literally been saved by the thoughts and lyrics of disturbed. so just wanted to say that and that I would love to meet some fellow fans.

Please Help

Hello fellow DISTURBED fans,

I have recently finished writing my first novel. I feel that I owe DISTURBED each a copy of my book because it was their music that filled my ears during the months while I was writing. It would be meaningful to me personally if I could directly give the copies of the book to the band so I can let them know that their music was a great inspiration.

I feel like I owe them because without their music my book would not be what it is today.

I plan to attend the Mayhem Fest in Englewood, Colorado on July 20. If anyone knows how to get back stage passes, or knows someone who could issue them, please help me out.

If I have to travel to a concert in a different state to meet them, I'd be willing.

I will appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks.

Inside the Fire Video very impactful

I think that the video is very profound and shows the effect that suicide of a loved one can have, the thoughts it can incur. David speaking at the beginning puts the whole thing into perspective. Sure, it is a badass video, but there is an underlying message: if you have suicidal thoughts, it is wise to seek help because there's more than just your life at stake, as if that weren't enough. The impact of suicide does not affect only the victim.

But enough of the sermon...Dan shows off some nice stuff in that solo, doesn't he? Sweeeeeeet!

Inside the Fire Access

So what do ya think that it's gonna be like, that new Inside the Fire thing:

Do you think it will be like TDO, better, worse, or about the same? Or perhaps incomparably different? Sounds intriguing whatever it is...
