Glens Falls get ready to put your straight jackets back on and break your necks for what will be another fantastic Disturbed show. This is my sixth time seeing Disturbed and I will continue my support for them as long as they're giving their best. David is right in saying that with each tour the ante is raised because if you've seen as many D shows as I have you know that every show surprises and every show has simply blown you away. I was one of the first to purchase tix for this show and the anticipation is killing. With each show that I see, I purchase the ticket with the hope of someday meeting my favorite band. Fingers crossed and see you stageside at the show. Peace.
The anticipation is killing us all but it's just what we'd expect from Disturbed to lick the wounds of the previous tour, write new material, press it and ship it out to the legions of awaiting fans. Now that's how it's done folks! A resounding SUHWEEEEEET! Like I wrote on their Facebook wall, get ready to take the neck brace off for this one bangers. You'll need a hinge for a neck I'm sure. I'm still reeling from the last album and tour. Disturb's resilience and resolve in a music environment filled with want-to-be's, lip-sync-ers, and industry 'pushers', is something to be recognized, aspired to, and respected. ASYLUM,...get it,...listen,...and learn.
I saw Disturbed in Utica last Feb. and bought the tour T-shirt, with the Utica date on it and had planned on doing the same for the Music As A Weapon tour that landed in Glens Falls, NY. After the awesome show, I went to purchase the MAAW IV t-shirt, grey/black with the dates on it, they were sold out! Awesome for the vendor and the band but I wasn't able to purchase one. I collect and commemorate the shows of my favorite bands with the purchase of the dated t-shirts that they sell at the shows. They aren't selling them on the webstore either. Could someone tell me how I could get one? I'd really appreciate it.
I sent in photos yesterday and was wondering when we'd expect to see fan photos on the site. I'm also going stage-side for the show in Glens Falls this Monday and will hopefully have more pics to submit thereafter.
I entered a contest with the local radio station website recently and devoted all of my points (580,000 to be exact)for more than a months time and somehow still lost 1 of 6 possible chances to be on stage with the band for this show. I even went as far as using company time, risked getting fired, to accrue these contest points for a chance to meet Disturbed. I know I got robbed. Man, I don't know what else a true fan has to do to get a chance to meet their favorite band. Any advice out there would be greatly appreciated.
Wow, what an awesome oportunity! Unfortunately, having a fulltime job and two toddlers, I won't be able to take advantage of this. For my purchase of the Limited Edition of the album, I'd be able to partake in a meet and greet though. I'm attending the Feb. 27th show in Utica, NY, bringing my 14 year old nephew to his first concert ever. As a monster Disturbed fan, and as I've stated before on their site numerous times, I'd love to meet the guys who are saving rock, live rock, with their material and their ability to consistantly bring it out to the masses.
