I just wanted to add that John Moyer's bass cabinet is on page 167 of the new 2009 Guitar Buyer's Guide. It's easy to see with the cool artwork design. I'm glad for him. Cool!!

You guys are so mean. Picking on John for the way he looks, that's low. As, for what Fuzz said in his MY Space Acoount, he said that he refused to sux Jewish Cock. I think this is a below the belt commment in so many ways. Okay, kidding aside,I have alot of respect for David Draiman and I think that comment is just wrong. If you want to say that he is not going into the same direction that you want to go in concerning the band, you could say that in a nicer way. Steve Kmark, Fuzz is a father, what kind of example is he setting for his children. And if David is so bad, why didn't he join another band. What does he have to compare to David. It just has bothered me since I read that statement.

You may understand why Fuzz phrased it that way if you walked a mile in his shoes. Had someone thrown my life's work down the drain after so many years of struggling to get to the top, simply because we didn't always see eye to eye, I'd have harsher words. If you think it's as simple as joining another band, you probably didn't read the update on his page. He is an excellent father, and the last time I checked - his kids can't read yet. Not that I'd fault his parenting on that ONE phrase.
Such utter blind respect for David over Fuzz is discriminatory, especially since David has had harsher words toward the fans from what I've been told by fans and copies of messages on the DMB. And his quote about the band "not clicking" with Fuzz goes right up my ass. He said that way before Fuzz had a myspace. They were "clicking" just fine, waaay before David joined them - and the first 2 albums prove it.
David is an excellent lyricist. Fuzz is an awesome musician. Ask any musician who knows the songs - he's better than John. At least better than what we've heard of his work on Disturbed material. My husband (guitar & bass player) grimaces when he hears the old songs played live now. What does he have to compare to David? If you're asking why he doesn't have a music career going on right now, look to Disturbed for that answer (it's not easy to start over at age 38 with a family - btw, that family was on the way when he was fired from his only source of income - nice). While you're at it, ask them why he's not credited on this album for the songs he helped write (they were not written piece by piece - it was together.) If that's not what you're asking - I'll tell you what he has: talent, empathy, & a conscience.
I didn't come here to bash David. You started this comparison & I'm simply answering it. I've seen Fuzz's acts of kindness toward people first hand. I've heard stories about David's shows of contempt toward fans - a lot (never heard that kind of stuff about Fuzz). You didn't have to bash Fuzz in order to defend John.
Why in the hell do some people join this site as a fan, when you are clearly not? You go by what you "heard", or were "told", and obviously are ignorant to the facts (i.e. details). Do some real research before making asses of yourselves. People who ARE real fans on here wouldn't just say "You do not know the details" w/o knowing them first. John is a damn good bassist. He apparently had what they were looking for, and could play the music they were already doing! So to those who want to make this a bash fest toward them and those who are real fans, STFU! If I hear another bigot remark, I think I may fuckin vomit. No wonder the guys don't come on here, or anywhere else much (if at all) to communicate with their fans. Because of this very bullshit! And frankly, I do not blame them! And as for how David allegedly shows contempt toward his fans, I can definately say that is UNTRUE! And I didn't hear shit. I know! If anything, he shows contempt toward assholes who want to throw bottles of water at them on stage, and people like you here spilling trash, and lies! Damn SOME of you people on here are pathetic. Perhaps you should take your own advice & do some research. I DO KNOW. And apparently people who've had to deal with them have told you in person & you still don't believe it (yeah I was bored enough to click on your link). Not wanting something to be true doesn't make it a lie. Nor do these observations make one less of a fan of the MUSIC.
As it's not my place to specifically repeat what fans & friends of the band have told me, and I'm not the type to copy & paste private messages, let's just go by the irrefutable fact: Fuzz was not credited for songs he helped write. (Maybe you think that's OK. Empathize much?)
Just as negative statements about the band members make you want to vomit, bashing Fuzz makes me want to vomit. Had they not kicked him out, I would think you'd afford him the same respect. The exchange you're so sick over began with someone trashing Fuzz or I wouldn't have said anything. I guess you'd be fine with a whole Fuzz-bashing thread since he's not in the band anymore... hypocrite. I'll say it again - it is not necessary to bash Fuzz to defend John.
I'll gladly leave this site the day Fuzz's name is returned to it as part of the band's history & he is credited for ALL of his work. Metallica is a class act, giving credit where credit is due & acknowledging fans. Imagine that.

Disturbed was without a bassplayer for quite some time. They held open auditions in Chicago for several days and John earned his spot by standing in line for an entire day doing several auditions before Dan, Mike and David just like thousands of other bass players. He was chosen because of his incredible skills and he fitted in perfectly. John is an extremely nice guy who makes time to talk to the fans at shows and is super down to earth. He deserves a little more respect then some of the above comments. You call yourself Disturbed fans? Shame on you.
What are the details we don't know?
If I were Fuzz, after struggling to get to the top with these musicians for 16 years, that one day of standing in line & landing there would go right up my ass. Add to that NO CREDIT for songs he helped write.
How does a pick player fit in the spot of a finger player? (I'm not the only one who hears what's missing when the old songs are played live.)

I agree if david dan and mike all think that john is good enough to play in disturbed then thats enough said itrust there judgment more than anyone else, and from what i can tell the new album is great and so was "music as a weapon" Which john was playing in so he must be good enough.
