because I got So Bored with hearing the same old riffs, same lyrics, same style. Then, one night I happened on a sample video of 'Disturbed'. Boy, did that ever change my way of thinking! I know I am so far behind all the other Disturbed fans, but it is an awesome undertaking trying to catch up to date. Much I haven't listened to ,yet, but I am telling every body I know about this unique style that I've only heard from Disturbed. And only Disturbed can do it like Disturbed! Everyone I tell, like me, is bored with and out of touch with all forms of music anymore. But when I play Disturbed for them, magic happens! They are hooked! Since I have just recently discovered DISTURBED this year-(yes THIS year '09!)-I guess INSIDE THE FIRE is not too over played 4 Me! I Have ALL the CDs and am working on getting Live shows 4 my Collection when/as/if I can! I am too old 2 be a groupie, but my husband is a helluva cook and could cook them a great Thanksgiving dinner.(I still think they R ALL sexy) I would like 2 ask David about his religious beliefs, and share with him some of my thoughts on the subject. I can tell by interviews I have seen that he is a deep thinker, and so am I. But he is more articulate than I so I would be more apt to listen (although I am an OK 'writer').

Perfect Insanity is my fav of the two. Inside the fire is good, but dosn't have the kick ass drums! Besides Inside the fire has been over played.

I'm almost 40 yrs old, and LOVE Disturbed's music. But when I heard Inside the Fire, it gave me chills. See, I was a pall bearer for my best man. He blew his own head off with a shotgun a couple of years after he helped with my wedding. He killed himself because his ex wouldn't let him see their very young daughter - sounds like a lame reason from the outside, but that little girl was his world. Not to get off on a rant, but suicide is absolutely no joke - it can ruin the lives of people all around the one pulling the trigger, or kicking the chair out from under, or whatever - a fact to which I'm sure David Draiman can relate. Anyway, this song, and the full video really got to me, so it wins in my mind. I gotta say too - sincere thanks to Disturbed for putting the PSA at the front of this video - that was a very classy move guys!

But Inside the Fire wins on this one. It's just an awesome song, and I love that it's "controversial". I have to respect Disturbed for "going there" and not caring what the critics had to say. Just another reason to love Disturbed!
