Asylum is the fifth studio album by American heavy metal band Disturbed. Taking inspiration from aspects of lead singer David Draiman's life, Asylum is meant to take a fresh direction in the band's music career, while remaining consistent with the band's previous albums. digital photo frame

Billboard.com noted that the album debuted with 179,000 copies sold, topping the list over four other debuts and several strong-selling recent releases, like Eminence's "Recovery," which has spent six non-consecutive weeks at #1, and Katy Perri's "Teenage Dream," which debuted at #1 two weeks prior to Disturbed. They edged out a compilation album, "Now 35," which placed second. Lyfe Jennings, the Goo Goo Dolls, and Heart also debuted with their latest. Heart's entry was their first Top 10 in 20 years.

I’d imagine another reason for this tremendous success is due to the band’s unwillingness to rock the boat too much. Any changes from one album to the next are either incremental or virtually non-existent. While this makes for a rather homogeneous song catalog that may come across as either boring or lazy to some, I think it’s just a case of the group knowing what sound works best for them and working to perfect it. Kind of an “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mentality. And as far as I’m concerned, Disturbed’s sound ain’t broke.

We first seen you last year while you guys were on tour with Weapon 4 at First Mariner Arena in Baltimore,MD. What you want YOUR music to relay to your fans, we all are certainly receiving.
