Nice video guys. Done very well. I have to say i too have dealt with suicide not only did i try to do it years ago when i was a jehovahs witness when i lost everything i knew, but a friend of mine took her own life last year. I still dont know why but i wish to god i helped her. I tried to write a song about it but nothing came to mind. I think you pretty much summed up what i would say. So thank you!

I was widowed in june 1991, my husband committed suicide....again, Disturbed has hit a personal experience for me;threw their music....forever a fan; and a DISTURBEDONE!!! see ya.....

This song has touched me deeply when I really listen to the lyrics and actually know what it is about. I had a similar kind of experience once, except it was two of my friends who were both really depressed (at the same time) and I managed to actually talk them both out of actually committing the act. This song really does have a powerful effect on me.

And just so you know, you guys are friggen amazing! I love you guys!

The first I ever heard was "sickness" and that got me hooked. I went to see you guys live once, and will again at rock on the range. I'm stoked!! After hearing this song on the radio and it being the new single, I had to see the video. I had no idea that the video and song would be as brutally touching as this has. "Sickness," "the game," and now this song have definitely made my top 3 favorite songs, ever! Thank you for sharing your life with us through souch great music.

Awesome video, although very deep, I could never imagine going through something like that. I have great sympathy for David Draiman if that is what he has gone through. The video nearly made me cry, and now I have more sympathy for individuals who are in need of help, who are crying out for help. I am a nurse, and I indeed see alot of individuals who need help and we have tried to help them in any way that we can...but sometimes they do succeed in their attempts, and it breaks my heart to see their mother's their father's and children crying in pain...as this video shows that same pain. People are in charge of their own lives, and in control...we can pick up on the signs and try to help as much as we can...but if they cannot find the courage to go on...no one will be able to stop them in the end. It is no one's fault, and though it is sad, we should not give up on our own lives either. The loved ones must go on and love the people we have lost, and live for the ones who are still alive and dear to us.

"Criticism" of this video is on a personal level rather than being about the music. Those of us who are too deeply affected by it to watch it again are "true to the music" or we wouldn't be here. The song & video are very well done & that's the REASON it's too intense for some of us. If you've ever had someone die in your arms, you may understand. We aren't knocking the video - we're just saying it's too intense for US to watch. The images are still in my head when I just hear the song. Memories come rushing back that I can't/won't handle. These are the kind of images the 1st 2 albums helped me avoid. I listen to Disturbed for empowerment. I have to avoid songs that reverse the effect...

This video rocks completely. When I searched for "inside the fire" lyrics and discovered its meaning to David Drainman, I got "disturbed". Now after watching this, I was again, disturbed. It's really weird how you have to watch it a few times for the initial shock wear off.

I absolutely love your music, David is an excellent vocalist, as well as an excellent linguist. Dan, AMAZING solo, a bit long in my opinion, but still excellent, Mike, in my opinion, some of your best drumming to-date. Didn't forget you John, great job. The thing i hate about singles and music videos is that it just teases you, it frustrates me because all i want is for June 3rd to arrive. keep up the good work, i like the more "sickness-esque" album, I like your more melodic songs, but what got me hooked was the more savage, more brutal elements from "the Sickness."

Well, some of my fears were answered with this video. While it may not be a huge leap forward musically, it doesn't regress; the real plus, however, is the message. I always love it when an artist speaks out about some issue, be it personal and political, and to speak so plainly, so honestly, about something that is clearly still with him, for that alone this song/video is worthy of some honor. Now there are only two questions left in my mind: will Disturbed continue to put strong messages in their music? Also, will the level of technical prowess stangate, regress, or increase? Even though Disturbed never quite reaches the range of highly precise death metal, I've always admired them because they do beat out many modern contenders, as far as skill goes. Let's hope that this trend continues

This video really hits home for me as this is exactly how my brother took his life almost 8 years ago. The truly sad part about it was that he was in a hospital on suicide watch and was hanging in his room for almost 30 minutes before they found him.

Love life and the ones you live it with and never let them forget you love them. You never know when your time together will end.
