as alot of people said here is a really intanse and disturbing video and in the same time the song is friking awsome relaiting to this video is easy for me as i tryied not once to kill myself few years ago ofcorse today i see how lucky i was to be stoped any ways DISTURBED ROCKS

I may be repetitive in saying this, but the video for "Inside the Fire" is truly difficult to watch. It hits close to home for a lot of people, myself included. The song in and of itself is amazing but coupled with the video it is earth-shattering. Unfortunately the world will always be faced with the tragedy of suicide. Thankfully we have the music to help the survivors make it through one day at a time.

That is probably the most intense film I have ever seen, I am happy to have finally seen it after such a long wait, But can only imagine what horrific thoughts were going thru Davids mind when writing the song. Very sorry to hear he went thru such a terrifying moment in life.

i really relate to this song and video as i almost killed myself a few years ago though i must thank my sister as she was the one that found me and made shore I'm here 2day. looking back on my life now and that day i realised that killing myself would have been the worst thing for me 2 do. thanks sam for finding me and all my mate who helped me get through it

The video's okay but the beginning is...well, it's not what I expected out of disturbed. But certainally not something that I would expected out of David Draiman.

I was looking forward to the new video, and now I find myself hardly able to watch it. It really is intense, very sad and disturbing. At the same time, it also rocks like hell, but... I can hardly stand the sight of David putting that rifle to his mouth. Seems everybody knew somebody who killed himself. Sadly, that is true for me also. I often think about Marc and wonder what kind of person he would be now if he could have overcome his problems. Could I have helped him somehow? I guess some feeling of guilt always remains.

Some nicely meant critique about the vid itself (it has some very very cool scenes, what with all the blood and the band looking really awesome): I could have lived without the bathtub scene. the makeup on the dead girl looks very artificial. maybe it would have been better to let David just be the voice of the Devil and let some other guy play the boyfriend? I don't know. Just some thoughts I had while watching :-)

It's funny how blood is a symbol of life and death. When we are born we are born in blood and in this video it is a strong message of death. My cousin hung himself in the basement of a nice little surburan home. He was a strange person, I was only nine or ten, and I didn't understand it. It really scared me. It was alot to take in. This video may be graphic, but it is in your face to wake you up. But, it brings back some strange memories to me,of going back to a house where someone hung themselves. I wonder what the real story of this girl is. I'm sure that this is a bit artistic in nature. I think when David sings come inside the fire with me, he is saying welcome to my world and what I have been through, as well as the Devil is tempting the person in the song to kill themselves. I also remember when my girlfriend died at 22 of a heart attack, I blamed myself for not being a better friend and why am I alive. I think we all go through that, but I saw a picture of her daughter, all grown up and I thought she is still alive in her.

I use to have thoughts of sucide too but thanks to disturbed and other metal bands I have no more thoughts.

I still think that the best bands ever are AC/DC and Metallica but DISTURBED just plain rocks.

This video was as dark as song the lyrics. Dave is a strong man for putting this private moment of his life out there I feel sorry for anyone who has gone through something like this my mom tried to kill herself 12 yrs ago its a shitty situation for anybody to face but it doesnt have to be faced alone

My best friend hung himself when I was a teen. To this day, the finest person I've ever known. His name was David.

I like many others have also struggled with suicide with myself and with my friends. With this song you can tell that David was really close to this young women, I am very sorry that he had to deal with this but in the end it made a great song. Suicide is one of the worst things that could happen, I agree with David if you or anyone you know are having thoughts of suicide please call the hotline. Please think about all of the people that you love and how much it will hurt them if you do commit suicide.

This really does speak to suicide survivors. My best friend just did it two months ago and this video really reached me. And of course, as always, the MUSIC is unparalleled!!

As far as i know it was an old girlfriend of his when he was a teenageer that commited suicide by fire and he said he heard the devil speak to him telling him to take his place next to her. But u can tell by the look in his eyes this is a very serious topic for him. whoever she was, she meant the world to him

What can you say about that. David your criptic lyrics are mind blowing and the sound is second to none only disturbed can deliver such a topic so true to reality well done. Now the anticipation for the rest of the album must be through the roof, hope i dont have to wait to long for it to come to Australia.

wow...thats pretty intense. great video, kinda disturbing. but i know thats the point. i was expecting that at the breaking point at the end of the solo, just after he had taken the gun and was contemplating suicide himself, i thought David would hurl the gun through a window or something. symbolizing him being something like "fuck that" and overcome it all

Wow! That was amazing! I know they said it was going to be "bloody and intense" but that was really extreme! It really hit me hard, a crazy effect. This video is truly the masterpiece among all of their videos. After watching it I called my girlfriend and told her that I loved her.
