In the previous spirit of Valentines Day, here is my sacrifice and me saying "F** YOOOUUUU" to it :) (Just joshin'!with ya!) Anyway, "Sacrifice" is a song by, (you guessed it), DISTURBED from their 2010 album Asylum. I made the hand purposely lighter so that the heart would stand out. I thought that keeping everything but the blood in gray would better convey a meaning. Everything except a little bit of the lettering is in regular old 0.9 mm lead pencil and Crayola colored pencils. (A little of the lettering is in charcoal pencil.) I was thinking of doing the background black, as a sort of portrait thing, but decided that it would look pretty lame. Sorry for the quality of the picture: I would scan it if I actually had a scanner, but I don't, so sorry! Oh yeah, and I put the 'H' on the wrist simply because my veins form two of them on my left wrist. It's not drawn exactly as mine is, but I thought I'd add a little bit more of me in it :)
Take from it what you will and I hope you find something to link it to (not in a bad way, as that may have sounded)
